Lily Yang Chairperson of Mecom

Mecom Founder Lily Yang started her career in a British company at a young age, dedicating 30 years to the field of metalworking fluids, specifically cutting oils. Thirteen years ago, she partnered with like-minded individuals, including the current Technical Director, Jonathan Liao, to establish Mecom Technology Co., Ltd. in 2003. Under the "MCM" brand, the company specializes in the research and production of plant-based metalworking fluid series products. Guided by the central principles of "environmental protection, health, and safety," Mecom continuously pursues excellence. They successfully incorporate green energy materials into metalworking fluids, reducing carbon emissions from petroleum refining processes and mitigating the greenhouse effect.

Mecom's Technical Director, Jonathan Liao, leads Taiwan's first enterprise to research and develop plant-based metalworking fluids. With a doctoral degree and extensive experience, he successfully applies renewable green plant oils to metalworking, contributing to environmental conservation efforts. Leading the company's team, Jonathan Liao pioneered the extraction of metalworking fluids from plant oils, replacing traditional petrochemical cutting fluids and becoming a benchmark for adoption in the world's top industrial sectors. He emphasizes the company's commitment to people and the environment, highlighting that the plant-based metalworking fluids developed can reduce environmental impact while being more cost-effective.
